My feet were fine

Some days I really look forward to going for my walk. But what I can't understand is why my humans insist on washing my feet when I come back. I think I have shrunk in the wash. Maybe if they hadn't washed me I'd be the size of a great Dane. I think all this washing has stunted my growth. Anyway I thought that was what the carpets were for. Also I never see my humans wash there feet when we come back from our walk.
