Friday 6 January 2012: First Snowdrops
These snowdrops were potted up by my mother some time ago. She's moving house (the house where I was born) and thought I would like some snowdrops in my newly reworked garden. She's right: I'm delighted to have these lovely flowers in our rock garden.
We has a great afternoon with my sister and her family here for a leisurely lunch. Catherine made some tasty roast pumpkin soup and I made some bread.
