Saturday 7 January 2012: City Cafe

1950's style Americana Cafe Bar, Old Town, Edinburgh.

A brief window of escape and I had lunch and read the newspaper.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Then I got an unexpected call and met up with a friend and his 3 month old baby daughter for a beer.

That extended my escape most gratefully.
