Scrawny Old Man

Getting there

Well that was an interesting day. Just a short walk, smaller hill to get the legs going again after the festivities. Dave found a nice route up a gully which got kind of steep - it was quite an easy scramble (at least for the longer-legged) but slippery on snow, wet rock, moss and good old fashioned mud. So some opted for the rope, as demonstrated here by Kathy (a.k.a. blipper Livraphotos).
Her expression says it all. Don't know what she'll think of this blip but no doubt I'll find out soon enough.
Beautiful weather, great views when we had the chance to look, a hill fort (extra little hill on the way back), red kite.

I seem to have been quite a wildlife photographer the last few days - yesterday an elephant (and an archive blip of a wasp), before that a goldeneye, before that a hedgehog, before that some beetles Beatles. But I'm not going to get myself into more trouble by calling Kathy wildlife.
