Wednesday 4 January 2012: Someone tell me which season it is?
The warm weather continues as a powerful Chinook dominates. It was almost 15C today, breaking the record of 12C that has been in place since 1914 and a lot of the snow has disappeared completely.
On the ground, some of the branches blown down by the high winds associated with this recent chinook can be seen on the grass. The grass is brown with no snow visible.
We have had grass fires this week in Southern Alberta!!
