Saturday 7 January 2012: Urban Forest View
It was a pretty grey day in Seattle and there weren't any strong shadows but I finally sprang for the photomatix plugin for Aperture on my mac and wanted to use it! So here is a tonemapped image. Didn't have a tripod and am not entirely happy with the result (how do I get rid of that "halo" on the freeways?) but it's better than it might be. And fun. :-) It's a walk we often take through a park under the freeway- there are more than 300 steps behind me up to the top of this hillside, but I liked this glimpse of Lake Union and the other side from here...
