Saturday 7 January 2012: Watching the watchers...

I spend most Saturdays running with the Himalayan Hash House Harriers. Its a group of ex pats and Nepalis who, for some bizarre reason enjoy two and a half hours running (mostly uphill!!), in order that they can have a beer afterwards.

It gets you out of the city, and into the Kathmandu valley, where the air is substantially less polluted.

The locals are sometimes a little bemused...
