chili is one of those essential texas foodgroups - i am sure I will feature the other two before this is over.
chili in texas is traditionally without beans (though this vegetarian chili has it) and is usually nice and spicy. there is an annual chili cookoff out in terlingua (by big bend) that is of some acclaim.
i love chili. it's the perfect way to warm up in the winter, especially with cornbread. this chili is from the relatively new food truck park here in fort worth.
