Sunday 8 January 2012: Flowing water

A beautiful Sunday. Sun in the sky, not too much wind and a temperature of 8°C. A day for outdoor activities.

I made a long walk today. In the afternoon I was in city park Schoonoord. It's a small park in the neighbourhood of Rotterdam's Euromast.

"Schoonoord is approximately 1.2 hectares and goes back in history to 1706. In the 19th century Schoonoord was the garden of the residence of the banking family Mees. The park in its present form was designed by Jan David Zocher in 1860, the garden of the Mees family was the basis. The most famous trees in the park are more than 250 years old Libanonceders" (translated from Wikipedia NL).

For my blip I chose the big water bowl in the park. Very special is that there's flowing water in this time of the year ... ;)
