Yang Guang

Had a lovely day at the zoo, though we were both slightly concerned at Tian Tian sitting with her face to the wall hiding under her bamboo shoots and Yang Guang's incessant pacing outside.

I don't know enough about panda psychology to be able to comment on these visitors' inner happiness but I did feel a wee bit uncomfortable watching.

Elsewhere, there seemed to be a distict lack of animals but a plethora of bamboo plants, many of which had enclosures of their own.
