Monday 9 January 2012: listing to port
Went out for a walk with Hubs this afternoon (and last night) down to the pier where this old wooden fishing boat is moored. She's listing in both low and high tides, but there wasn't anyone around to quiz. I'd like to know more about her story, hopefully I'll find someone to fill me in.
After lots of wild and windy weather it's suddenly so quiet and still. Very enjoyable, but unusual for a coastal village in midwinter?
Had a surprise visit from the lovely Ruthie babes. Poor girl only called in for a quick chat and I bombarded her with my woes over a cup of tea. Just to clarify, I didn't throw the tea over her, although she might have preferred that!
