Monday 9 January 2012: Posing
We are still not on friendly terms, me and the squirrels that hang out in our yard, but this is about the nicest casual I-don't-really-trust-you pose I've ever encountered. Things are looking up. Or maybe they've heard the weather forecast and don't want their attitude to get in the way of me putting food out.
A cousin of my boss was killed in a gun accident over the weekend. I didn't know him, but this is a big family in a small town; the Beloved has worked with his dad in the past and I've probably seen him at the family Christmas party. So sad, so very sad. I'm more than ever convinced clever wizards should turn all guns into fishes so we can dump them into the ocean.
