You're So Young; And You Know So Much....

Tooli and me have had a good night tonight.

She drove. We dropped Dad at Scouts, and then drove to Dundonald over the hill. That was a first. We called in at a lovely lady to have her Prefect and Captain Bands (yes, a bit late I know), sewn onto her blazer. We sat in the sitting room, browsing Hello Magazines and watching the TV, and the lovely lady sewed the bands on in the Kitchen.

We had a lovely chat with her, and Tooli wanted to get her something to say thank you - she would take no money off us for her work. So Tooli drove 5 miles along the road to Irvine, and we wandered around Sainsbury. We bought toiletries for her trip to Malta on Thursday, and an Orchid for the lady.

We drove back to Dundonald, and Tooli ran in with the Orchid. She was delighted.

Then we drove back home - over the hill, much squealing and yelping as we took tight small corners, and came face to face with other cars, in full beam mode. We drove in through the town, and decided to try the Parallel Parking - another first, and again, and again, and again. Reducing the space each time! She's ready.

Then we came home and were both delighted to see that Boy's girlfriend had put pictures up of their holiday in Orlando - it looks like they had great fun... Then Si came home, and we all had a cup of chocolate and laughed together for a wee while. This is Tooli doing her Beyonce Attitude!

Now we're off to bed!

PS - Tooli got an unconditional acceptance for one of her universities of choice - and tonight, discovered a career that she could follow after all that!
