Saturday 7 January 2012: Plum (xvii)
The main billington harvest. Huge rain forecast so pick as much as is near ripe. This is about half of it. So the kitchen work begins, freezing , sauce making, stewing, pickles. Give away to all and sundry. Got to love it.
Probably no one realises this is actually a series of the development of these plums since flowering. It kind of would have worked better if I had put a link back to the previous one each time so it could be followed over its 17 or so week progress. Didnt even do the shots 1 week apart. Tried putting in the tag plum flower to plate but a search on that brings up everyone elses.
