Tuesday 10 January 2012: Herringbone Wall
Popped to the bank in town this morning and was surprised at just how warm it was - 11degrees in January....weird!!!!!
Decided on another walk around the Castle Grounds. The Norman motte and bailey castle featured in my journal the other day but I really liked the look of this herringbone pattern wall, one section survives from the 1180's!! The shadows of the trees on the wall show just how sunny it was!
Swimming club tonight - *sigh
