Monday 14 July 2008: Bastille Day - Bleu Blanc Rouge!
The 14th of July, so a big holliday for the French.
First we enjoyed the parade which was pretty impressive with lots of tanks and other military things, saw parachutists and planes flying over. Then did walked around anjoying the festivities and went to a museum and looked at Napoleon ridiculous tomb. Had some kebab for lunch. Followed by a nap in the hotel. Nice dinner in the Latin Quartier and onto the Eiffel Tower for some fireworks. They were not that impressive (partially caused by the fact we were too far away) but we had a good time anyway.
