Back to Holme Fen

On a beautiful, mild day my friend C and I return to Holme Fen. With plenty of time to explore we set out through the birches and eventually found a lake that's new to us. We sat in front of the bird hide drinking our tea, just captured by the peace and tranquility. Only the sound of the ducks and geese broke the silence. We didn't meet one other person on our two our expedition. They don't know what they're missing...

Just realised this is my 200th entry...

For the record: 11C, mild and glorious for the time of year.
