Tuesday 10 January 2012: A splash of colour
Had to nip over to the Hope this morning to drop off some proofs. Whilst I was there I took the chance to photograph some old boats. The paint may have been old and crinkly but it did offer pretty much the only colour on anotherwise dreich day.
At least it was vaguely dry this morning, by lunchtime the heavens had opened and were depositing vast quantities of H2O on the islands. The road is flooding and large areas of our garden are looking more like ponds. Even before it was dark, it was dark. Big heavy black clouds have decided to hide the days which we noticed yesterday were drawing out.
Maybe I should purchase an old boat and a bucket?
