Tuesday 10 January 2012: Random stuff...
683/365: ... I noticed before heading off for work.
No idea what the drops are - or how you're supposed to take them if you have to keep them away from your mouth. Or what the hot things* are in the tub behind. Or what the goop in the Shloer bottle was... or the role of the wooden snail... or retro mug.
But apparently Maddy had felt them all important enough to be left there overnight. How odd!
I haven't had chance to ask her about them because a) I was late home from work after a very long day and b) I was late home from work after a very long day complete with a blinder of a migraine. My return from work went... get home... lie down... wake up after children are in bed. Damnable migraines.
It started coming on this morning when I was at conference on 'how to organise a conference' (a conference about a conference - something oddly circular about that!) where the trainer was enthusiastic but did that thing of latching on to the fact that I'm based in a computing department and assuming I know all about computers... then making awkward references to them to try to engage me. Not realising that actually, I may be based there, but my background is in learning and teaching... and I couldn't care less about constant references to nerdy stuff! Oh dear!
Anyway, the migraine aura etc started then and I didn't have my tablets with me - so I tried getting fresh air and walking back to my office, which helped a bit. Then, had another meeting. Then prep for another meeting. Then another meeting... that overran in a room with horrible fluorescent lighting... which is a couple of my migraine triggers (being tired and crappy lighting) bundled into one. So, I drove home, feeling sick, pounding head, vision in one eye... and have no real idea how I managed it.
And so, I'm left with this shot. Of random stuff. Which I took at about 6am this morning just before I went to work. Random stuff which I still don't know anything about.
PS Just about sums up today!
PPS Bloody migraines
PPPS Wonder if the drops might help...
* someone has just pointed out that it may say 'not' rather than 'hot' - which almost makes it make sense. Almost...
