Wednesday 11 January 2012: Often Passed
One of my favourite Blip spots that I have Blipped many times in the past, in fact, last night was just to the left of this frame. It is also a stretch of canal that is passed by thousands every day in their cars and I'm sure not many take the time to notice. To be fair the views behind me are pretty good too and more obvious to the motorist. The two red boats used to be fire boats (as in - boats that put out fires) and are now house boats right in the centre of the city. The one in the foreground is up for sale (still) for something like 1/2 million pounds (it's a bit of a fixer-upper).
Not entirely happy with this shot as the wind rocked the boats in the foregrounds too much but this could make a good pic on a calm night, it's mostly in focus.
