Thursday 12 January 2012: Polished
Say what you like about this school corridor but you cannot deny that's one shiny floor.
In other news, the National Trust was founded on this day in 1895.
Without it, you could argue, you wouldn't have 'Happiness is a warm gun' , a song on the Beatles' White Album, which is reportedly Paul McCartney's favourite song from that album.
Also, no National Trust branded flapjack, fudge, address books...
And less protection for some amazing properties and landscapes.
Seeing that little metal NT plaque on a walk gives me a good feeling..
Enough of this..
