Thursday 12 January 2012: Chosen One
The windows on the other side of the office look out to the hills. At one point from my desk there can be seen the merest sliver of sky. and today at precisely 9:11 the sun briefly appeared there and shone full on me. Rather like solstice at Maes Howe or at the Great Pyramid.
Naturally, I've taken it as a sign that I have been earmarked to lead my people out from under the harsh yoke of our colonial masters. To a land of skinny lattes and honey granola bars. Henceforth 12th January will be known as Teuchters Liberation day. Which is rather similar to Teuchters Libation day - which happily was my plan in any case.
