Thursday 12 January 2012: Crystallised petals

Today has mostly been spent working; I was reordering the flow of the background to an article based on a client's comments. The revised version was ok, but I preferred the original. Ah well, they pay the bills, so I have to give them what they want!

After a brief trip into the village, I dropped an audio recorder and flash card back at a nearby client's offices and then took a detour on the way home as the sun was setting. I got some 'meh' sunset pics because I stupidly left for home too early, thinking that the sunset was over when the sun disappeared behind the hills. By the time I pulled up onto the driveway at home, the whole sky was red and orange and gorgeous. There seem to be a million quite a few other sunsets on blip tonight, so I've decided not to embarrass myself with my somewhat lame effort. Instead I give you a macro of some tiny chrysanthemum petals.

Comments back on today. It's the first time I've switched them off and it felt odd, but I knew you lovely bunch would add many comments of sympathy, which I didn't feel it was my place to receive. That's not to say that I haven't appreciated the comments elsewhere, though, as well as the favourite and the stars :)
