Friday 13 January 2012: Back in BA - 4 weeks later
Great to return to Buenos Aires nearly 4 weeks after our last flying visit. The time in Patagonia has definitely relaxed us into a permanent state of "manana".
In the afternoon we went for a stroll down to the Modern Art Museum and through the Recoleta district enjoying the summer sun. Most locals or Portenos have departed for their holidays down south or to Costa Uruguay so it is nice and quiet.
We are staying for 5 nights in the old barrio / district of Palermo in a lovely little B&B. They have a nice roof terrace and I spent a happy, half hour snapping away from this spot at the passing traffic on the intersection of Costa Rica and Godoz Cruz streets.
I hope to capture some of the old and new architecture of this unique city.
