Icicles on snowdrops

Got out the house early this morning. Thought a frosty walk with Tallulah (dog) would be less messy on her paws. Did not make any difference she came back just as muddy. Maybe we were not early enough.

Amazed to see the snowdrops are out.I am not sure if they are early - but I think they are. Normally they follow on a few weeks after the aconites but this year they are at the same time.

Also saw a heron catch a fish and then videoed it eating it. Bit gruesome I know but interesting to watch.

Again spoilt for blip choice but the snowdrops won.
