Sunday 15 January 2012: The Workboat
Down to Granton at 11am for a day on the workboat lifting a number of sinkers, including my own. Once the water covered the bottom end of the slip we were able to leave them there - they can be worked on at low tide before being taken out and dropped off again. The day was just amazing. We were suffused in the most wonderful light; I was itching to get the camera out way too often.
And afterwards I set off home, feeling my cheeks glowing. As the old joke goes, 'is that yer ayrshire bacon?' So, time for a glass of white and catch up with the papers. Monday morning approacheth.
