Baby Blanket

Firstly, thank you so much for the kind comments left on yesterday's post, I really appreciate it. It's been a tough weekend and I'm trying to keep myself occupied, so I've been to the gym today and also started working on a blanket for my friend Sharon's baby, who is due in mid-February. They are expecting a girl, but I know she won't mind the green - she's already told me she'a a bit worried about being overcome by pink, and I do find this tone warm and comforting. I'll try to knit her a little red cardigan after this, but I'm not a great knitter (you can tell by the gauge on this!), so we'll see how that goes.
