Friday 23 December 2011: In transit
It was an interesting transit trip.
In Dubai, we received messages to say Earthquakes in Christchurch... and the airport was shut.
Nothing for it, but to keep pressing on. They had plenty of time to open it again before we needed it.
It was a long flight. London - Dubai - Bangkok - Sydney - Christchurch. Over 30 hours runway to runway.
