We have liftoff!

Linda and I went to nearby Lake Wilcox to feed the ducks after lunch. The lake was frozen over save for a little splashing hole. They were plenty hungry and must have numbered around 100. The two in foreground are just jumping back in. The one on the right was caught in mid jump. Oh, and what a loud cacophony of quacking!
