Sunday 15 January 2012: brown pelican
-near the inlet bridge, in an Australian Pine. It amazes me that they can perch on those weak branches.
Finally nice today, after a few grey and somewhat chilly days.
We pick up Mom at airport tomorrow eve, she'll be visiting for a month and getting away from some of Ct winter. Neice S is travelling with her and will stay a few days (happy birthday, S!), and sister Celeste will fly down for a couple days next month to travel back with Mom. We're looking forward to seeing them :)
