Contemplation

As I was leaving this evening to take the dogs for a welk (and search for a blip) I heard the call of the yellow tailed black cockatoo. Unlike so many of our parrots that have noisy raucous calls, the black cockatoo is more like a plaintive cry. A lovely sound not sad. I believe that if these birds are around, then rain is on the way. If they came because of the storms yesterday, they are a day late. Perhaps like the work experience weather forecasters who usually get it right, but maybe a few days after predicted. I would love to get a good shot of one.

Anyhoo, this is at Bar beach this evening. This man is probably contemplating how much it was going to cost him to kit his two boys out for the new school year. He was watching his smaller son who was on his boogie board.
