Monday 16 January 2012: Painting the sky
I was running late today.
Normally my alarm goes off and I'm set to go. None of that 'snooze button' syndrome for me. But today... well I just couldn't get my eyes open.
That meant I was running late. Mind you I was still in the office just after 8, so not that late.
But it gave me some hope that winter isn't going to stay forever.
Creeping over the fields was a horizon filled with sunshine. Smothering the frosty fields in light.
I needed that this morning. A little spirit lift for winter.
