Sunday 13 July 2008: Wandering in Saas Grund

On this day we were supposed to be staying at Aiguille du midi mountain refuge on Mont Blanc but given rainy and cloudy weather (and very poor visibility) we drove on towards our goal of Zermatt. Saas Grund was a very sleepy little valley town also cloaked in fog but lovely. Here is a graveyard at the centre of town, so beautifully kept by the living.
