Morning Snack

This is not a very good photo but I saw this sparrow hawk on the fence and only had my phone to hand. Husband seems to have taken the wee camera with him today. We have about 20-30 sparrows in and around the garden so we have seen this bird before but never as blatant as this. That is the bird feeding station in front of him. All was quiet on the sparrow front but then one made a dash for it and the hawk went after him. Didn't see the outcome, luckily. I like seeing birds of prey but not the munching on small beasties part.
