Like Lizards shedding their skins, the refurbishments of Bakewells Fish and Chip shops continues apace.
We now have 3 fish and chip shops with this being the original one.
What were once a bar and a cafe are now fish and chip shops/restaurants!.
How much fish and chips can people eat?
Judging by the coach loads of happy devotees who visit Bakewell, the answer is a lot.
Going off on a tangent, whenever I see someone on top of a roof removing something theft springs to mind.. don't know why, maybe it's because if you do it in a brazen way nobody takes any notice.
Not that there is much theft in Bakewell, in fact last years crime figures showed a drop of over 40% from what was a very small figure anyway, making Bakewell one of, if not the, safest and least crime ridden towns in England.
