We had a quiet day here in Grindelwald today! Jerry and I had more than a little too much to drink last night. I'll not itemize, but suffice to say pre-dinner drinks, two bottles of this *fabulous* swiss wine and after dinner drinks was just a bit too much for Jerry. I felt fine this morning, but he was not quite so well off :D
I could have gone out skiing anyway, but decided a chill day would be a reasonable plan and did some reading instead.
We took a walk about in town today too. There is a big ice sculpture competition going on this week. Sculptors from Canada, Switzerland, Russia, England, Germany, South Korea, USA, and a couple of other countries that I am forgetting just now are all preparing for the judging on Saturday.
We met the English team last night at dinner, they are staying in our hotel. Today we took a walk around the sculpture area and met Allison here from the Canadian contingent. They seem to be having a lot of fun!

Oh, and woohoo! 200 subscribers :) I really feel privileged that people pay any attention to my blips. So, thank you - all of you. But before you worry my ego will get too large, I realize that many of my subscribers are now lapsed members :( I guess that's to be expected since I've been here for so long. I'm still grateful for every one of you.
