Tuesday 17 January 2012: London, Paris, New York, Rome - YORK

This scene could be anywhere in the world - well almost :-) It's along the river Ouse at York. The thing that captured my eye was the "Lamp" - Don't know why, but it appeared to look european. (lol - stop laughing, I know what I mean!) try it large

The NEW CAMERA - is back at the shop in York where it was purchased, ready to be dispatched to the manufacturer for repair. They lent me a loan camera and the above image was taken on my old trusted fuji compact. In all fairness the guys at the shop were ace and the customer service was second to none...., that's why I like to do business with independants. They have even offered to bring it back to me personally on it's return. But I think not - and miss out on another blipping session at York! lol

A Wee rant now about our fabulous rail network!! I was going to catch the train down to York, let the train take the strain and all that crap whoops stuff lol. I phoned them when I got home to find out that it was going to cost, it was going to cost twice as much for a ticket then it would to drive down including the park n' ride! Nee Chance. So I drove down and saved a further £2.2o and walked a six mile trip. That £2.20 paid for my Americano coffee in the city centre lol.

Here I am now in bed with laptop on knee with the electric blanket on listening to the Electronic 80's anthems with only 15 mins to go to get this blip on the meet the deadline ;-0

So please forgive me for not replying to your comments straight away...., I promise to get my finger out and do my bit Wednesday evening :-)
