The black cockatoo prediction did come true with small showers this morning. The clouds cleared away to a beautiful summer day. Perfect beach or fishing weather. I popped down to the boat ramp at Carrington at lunch time. Some fisherman had returned and were cleaning their catches. Quite a large number of Pelicans were assembled looking for an easy feed. The fisherman were throwing them the off cuts. This one had stolen it from another bird. There must have been something about the shape or size of it because it kept dunking it in the water and then throwing it in the air. Maybe it has to go down just the right way.
