landing gear engaged and ready to land. Ready or not!

Found myself at one of Pooba's spots I think. Bit of a grey, flat day sky wise so most of my bird shots are pretty dull and lifeless. Like this one because he took some landing in the wind! and it was 'Look out or else' to the pied stilts who were under him!
