Friday 20 January 2012: Frosty Fake...

Faking it Large!

Well the day started really badly but has steadily improved!

Alan had a complete meltdown at breakfast. The full works from utter rage to massive boo hoo sobs and everything else inbetween. No idea what triggered it but there was just no appeasing or consoling him.....we just had to ride the storm. As a result he missed his lift to school so David had to take him, which in turn meant he was late for work. It was a relief to wave them both off! (Thankfully he was absolutely fine when he got home and had a great day at school.)

Quick tidy up of the kitchen then got picked up by my best friend Agnes who was taking me out for a pre-birthday lunch. Ended up at Dobbies in Stirling (practising for when we are fully paid up members of the blue rinse brigade) and had a very nice lunch AND got some half price Christmas decorations in their post-Christmas sale!

Today's blip is one of them....a twig and white berry mantle decoration that will sit very nicely on the mantlepiece in our new dining room Christmas 2012! Sometimes I like to be organised!

So, the wine is chilling, dinner ready to go and that Friday feeling is upon me......have a great weekend Blip Pals and here's some SOUNDS to help us on our way.....
