Friday 20 January 2012: Teapots
Today's blip is a photo of my favourite teapots. My daughter, Catherine painted the two larger ones at Doodles in Marchmont. The older one on the right is my Carnethy teapot and is decorated with the names of some of the Pentland Hills. The hills are there, too with some miniature people running up them. The teapot on the left was a present for a special birthday and is the pot we use for red bush tea. The middle one is the newest addition and was a Christmas present from Ian. It's idea for using loose tea leaves and it currently has some lemon verbena tea in it :0)
