Friday 20 January 2012: On The Way Out

Friends bought us this camellia about 20 years ago now and, apart from the first year, it has hardly bloomed since. A couple of years ago, I moved it to the front garden and then totally ignored it. Last year it had a couple of blooms, but this year, it's absolutely covered in buds. With a bit of luck it will a) avoid the frost and b) blossom in the next 10 days before we go away.
