The Lighted Life

Forgive Me Father

I went to church today......but I did not go in.

After nine hours in the car, I was desperate for a blip....and hungry....and within a mile of my favorite pizzeria. I needed a blip (but not as much as a meal) and the cathedral was dead ahead. All I had was my wide angle lens. It was cold and I knew the lens would have its own view on the perspective. But I blipped anyway.

The magnitude of the church became accentuated by the aspheric aspect of the lens. Perhaps much like my mind has distorted my Catholic education, at least as it relates to modern day society.

Have a great weekend. I had a busy week so I hope to catch up with all of your fantastitic photos this weekend.
