Saturday 21 January 2012: A good fig
A rich honey flavour, sweet and refreshing. Got a good basketful today , but nearing the end of the season , not many left.
Collecting figs was one of Benne's favourite activities - that little ratbag really got to me. Particularly as we're quite concerned about his future.
This is the start of his story with us just over 3 weeks ago.
