Saturday 21 January 2012: Sleeping Beauty

We had plans to go out tonight but then Toots got ill.

Plans change and we're hoping that she gets some rest. Hence the tenuous link to the ballet she went to see last week.

As for the rest of the day. I did get out earlier on in the saddle but it was freezing. Thought my fingers would snap off from the cold.

Also tried some street shots but with the light being terrible and the weather awful many folks must have decided to stop at home.

All round disaster.

So, being confined to home and no photo in the bag I decided to finally try out the new off license round the corner. Nipped round to Drinkmonger between Tollcross and Bruntsfield. Good selection of nice wine. Very good. Friendly and helpful.

Not going to drink both tonight. Just savouring one.
