spent the morning mooching about, taking lots of pix of my parents' garden, then was supposed to meet a friend this afternoon, but it didn't happen, so i took myself off down to alnmouth instead. wandered thru the village and round the estuary, enjoying the sunshine and thinking how this was the first day i've been really hot in sunshine since being in the usa! two chaps taking pix there, plus another woman - i'd've been interested to compare and contrast what we all took. never mind.

a peaceful day and a peaceful trip, hence a peaceful pic! and for once it's not a bloody macro of something inside my house - you were all starting to think that's all i can take, weren't you ;-) loved the reflections, and the changing patterns on the water indicating the currents - the tide was coming in, and there are strong currents in the centre of the channel here. plus it's so flat the water rushes in at a scary speed - i got damp feet as i was distracted by the boats at one point...
