Sunday 22 January 2012: french hens
Seven of these fine feathered beauties live at the convent and in a very french way will only eat their salad if it is dressed!!!
I kid you not, olive oil, vinegar and a touch of dijon perhaps.
Tonight we have friends coming for dinner, starting the meal with endive, mache (lambs lettuce),walnut and roquefort salad...with dressing of course.
Should there be a soupcon left they will no doubt love it.
