Déjà Vu with added aggression

Déjà vu this morning.
Last weekend!

I was happily jogging along on my 'morning run', when I came across the geese again. This time they were involved in a sit-down protest in the middle of the road. They were extremely aggressive (Bad night? Hangovers?) One driver tried to reason with them and then beat a hasty retreat back into his car as one of the Ganders tried to attack him.

It took lots of patience but another driver and myself eventually got them down to the river.

Top tips when confronted by an aggressive goose -

1) Maintain direct eye contact with the animal and face toward it.
2) If the goose acts aggressively calmly and slowly back away.
3) Maintain a neutral demeanor, do not act hostile or show fear.
4) Never turn you back to an aggressive goose.
5) If a goose flies toward your face duck and move at a right angle to the direction of flight while maintaining your front toward the goose.
6) Don't mention that you had Roast Wild Goose with apple sultana stuffing for dinner last night!

Bit of a 'character building' week ahead involving vets, dentists and school inspections. Wish me luck!
