Lifeboat training

Here's Sweepie at lifeboat training this morning at North Berwick as his Human (my Back up Human) is a helm in the lifeboat crew there. They train there every Sunday and Wednesday. As you can see from the photo North Berwick has Blue Peter III, the first Blue Peter boat was supplied to North Berwick in 1966 and they have had a few more since then. Some of the crew even have Blue Peter badges from being on the show.
This is the IB1, it replaced the D-class, it is just over 16ft in length and completely inflatable. It is designed for working in and around the shore and just bumps of rocks.
There are 6 other Blue Peter lifeboat stations Littlehampton, Beaumaris, St Agnes, Portaferry, Cleathorpes and Fishguard. I just like to try and educate you Humans as often as I can.
Luv Ginnie.
