Sunday 22 January 2012: Walk this way ... ... ...

I've had a great day - so what's been so great about it?. What have I done that's been so exciting?

Absolutely nothing lol

I got up and had the usual; black tea with strawberry onken mixed in my Quakers porridge and grapefruit. Blipped for about 30 mins. I then washed the cars blasting my latest download - American Anthems. To my surprise under all the muck there was paint and a car lol. Then it was bath time - so up the apple and pears with portable speaker still blasting. Sharing my bath was Radox muscle soak and the scent was heavenly? If walls had ears they would have been deafened!! I can't sing for love of money lol. As I was stepping out the bath - Meatloaf "Dead Ringer for Love" came on - yep the sight was air guitar with a towel - god forbid if anyone seen that!!

Then the other half phoned from Montreal, Canada, chatted for about 20 mins then got ready still blasting American Anthems - it was like strip tease in reverse? Packed my bag with my goodies and off I went to blip. I didn't go out just to blip - I wanted to enjoy the crisp sun soaked afternoon and was rather hoping to catch a sunset. So in nice clean shiny car off I set, on the CD was "The School of Scandal Overture" by Samuel Barber so that got cranked up too. I did capture the sunset, it was reflecting in the mirrored wall of a glass building up on the business park and it looked stunning (Click Here) The above is the driveway to a hotel that I thought had closed down years ago - but to my surprise it was still open. It's called the Newbus Arms.

So chicken casserole in the oven with a few extras to use up from the fridge, and whilst that is bubbling away I'm sat hear typing my blip and listening to the big top 40 on Capital FM. So it's been a great day and cheery

Loving life ...

Ps. Over Christmas I put on 6lbs, so what took three days to put on took three weeks to get back off :-) BIG
